Has anyone have problems with The Legend Of Zorro. It seems that its just to big and DVD Shrink can not compress it to 4.7 size.I am useing Fab, and Shrink and useing DVD decrypter for the burn.I can only do Movie Only but not the complete disc.If anyone is able to do complete disc on this movie useing these three programs ( Shrink,Fab,and DVD Decrypter, I would surely like to know. Thanks

I used AnyDVD and CloneDVD. You can dowwload a 21 free trial from slysoft.com to check it out. I have never had a problem with a movie using this combo.
Another suggestion is to take the file ripped by fab and run them thru vobblanker 1st then open the files processed by vobblanker in shrink.
Check out Maxburn post in this thread about vobblanker - there's also a link there to download it:

@Binkie7 have you tried this movie yet Legend of Zorro with those programs Any DVD and Clone DVD ? Because this is a tough one, shrink keeps telling me its to big to fit onto a 4.7 disc. But I can put "Movie Only" though.Let me know if those programs work on this movie. Thanks

If you don't want to pay for programs. You can run the files thru FixVTS after you rip with DVDFab Decrypter. Then Shrind will be able to compress completely.

ok guys I tried all your programs and I am still haveing problems. With Clone the backup is different then the original yet it did work. With Fix VTS I get a memory error when I try to back up new files in Shrink created by FixVTS,I even tried to run it through Vob Blanker and still some exceptional error occurs.I would surely like to know how you were able to create an exact copy of Legend Of Zorro the complete DVD.....

Well since the movie doesn't actually come out until next tuesday. I won't be able to try it until then. I just know how I do all the recent Sony discs. (DVDFab-FixVTS-Shrink) in that order. Make sure your programs are up to date.

I'm a little confused - what's different? But it worked? I did a full backup on this one with no problems.

    Go here http://www.videohelp.com/~FixVTS/Features.htm
it'll tell you what it does and how to use it.
Not sure why your getting that error, I've never encountered it. You might have to delete all files and start over.

When I play the copy I did with Clone the Movie will automaticaly play first I will have to hit the menu button on the control to get to main menu and all other features which it should not be.Its as though it copied everything but not in the sequence the original DVD is in.I am new to Clone so I might of done it wrong, but thats what happened

Ah! Now I gotcha. Just need to tweak those settings in anydvd! Double click on the red fox. Click on settings. Under navigation check the 'jump directly to title menu'. This will fix that. If you like also check 'remove annoying adverts and trailer' This will usually throw the screens/previews to the very end of the movie - past the credits. The default setting is 'jump directly to main movie' this also throw everything (menus too) to the end though they are still accessible with the remote.

You're welcome - glad we could help ya out!!! Thanks for posting that dvdfab decrypter worked too! It was fab decrypter right? Did you run those files thru shrink after ripping them w/ fab decrypter?
I have a feeling there may be quite a few threads popping on this one on Tues.

So nobody wanted to tell him he still does not have an exact copy of the movie in question. He would have to use a dual layer DVDR to get an exact copy. TDY you have a compressed exact copy what ever that is.To make an exact copy, AnyDVD and copy with Nero DVD Copy on DL DVDR no clone needed.

You're right he doesn't have an exact 1:1 copy - just a compressed version:). Clone also does DL - just change the setting.
I think decrypter does the better job when it comes to dl discs - handle the layer break better.

Do you think ImgBurn is any better at burning DL than the original Decrypter? Both are by lightningUK and some people would say its an improvement.

Don't know about ImgBurn - I've never used it. I've haven't burned that many dl discs - still too much $ for them. I've used Nero once but it skipped at the layer break. So I then used decrypter to rip the movie then picked to .mds to burn. This worked out much better.
