Hi, i have an older type mod chip which can't be updated with a system disk (believe me, i've tried) I was able to bypass the 001 error and get Mario Kart running by applying a patch to the iso with ppf-o-matic - does anyone know if a similar patch is available for Lego Indiana Jones yet? Apologies if this has been touched upon before - i have searched the forums and found nothing directly relevant. Thanks All...........

cheers for the link - hope the ppf patch works. Incidentally my wii was one of a batch of five chipped by a friend of a friend - the other four were chipped with genuine wiikey chips, mine with a shitty chinese wiikey clone. This is what has stopped me soft-updating my chip - i really have tried (made about fifteen coasters in the attempt). The chip can be updated apparently, but only by taking the wii apart and reprogramming the chip - cant be done with software. Maybe you have a similar problem? Thanx again for the link - will let you know if it works.
My wii also modded with a chinese chip (wi-ic) - may be the same one as yours. How did you manage to re-programming the chip? Thanks
