Lethal (The iPod forum moderator) suggestion! Pleas Consider!

    Have you ever noticed how Lethal is always posting in the iPod forum? How he is always reporting fowl language? How he is always reporting spammers? How he is the guy who knows the most about iPods? How he lets a Member know when they are starting to break forum rules? Lethal dose a lot in the iPod forum! I feel that he should become the moderator for the iPod forum! This would make it much easier for everyone! Just think… he would be able to lower your work load but closing a thread for you instead of asking you to close it. He would be able to ban those stupid spammers for you; he would be able to make your job easier! Will you pleas consider making Lethal the iPod forum Moderator? I think it would be for the best of Afterdawn!

    What about the other forum on AD that LB is in? Let's just vote him/suggest him for a "roming mod" status.

    Fine with me... I see him the most in the iPod forum... probly because I spend most of my time there!

    But after regaining a couple of our oldies like neph & flip, I think the place is fine for mods.

    Ok, I was trying to help them out because you basically do the work of a mod. But ultimately its your decision!

    I think that Lethal has already "sorta" said he dosent want to be a mod! Boy it sure would be nice for everyone here at Afterdawn!

    Yes it’s a great idea, having a teenager mod-ing the teenagers in the Consoles board,
    That has a good head on his shoulders,and that can talk the talk and walk the walk..
    My idea is to have just only have a mod in charge of just for the Consoles board...
    That would just be his beat to control.in fact we should have a dedicated mod in charge of each board.

    That's how I feel Ireland… we should have a mod for each board and a few every where mods! Ireland, I am disanointed when I saw your name I was expecting a picture… you should be able to come up with something!

    @Domreis - don't keep putting the young man on the spot there. but for the record i concur with Dela and darth, Lethal's all around the forums, he's as bad as me! :)

    oh really? wow lethal you edit 100 or so posts a day and babysit 100,000 whiny little babies that cant play nice with each other, get 20-30 PM's a day by people who are pissed off at someone for something stupid, etc, etc, etc??

    lets not mince words here, Lethal does what he does and he does it very well, he does the job of a senior/addict and we truly appreciate it. the thing most people dont realize is when you become a mod it doesn't take long before you start asking yourself "wtf have i gotten myself in to??" it's not all fun and games, we all take on a certain responsability to the site and it changes alot from the times we were just members/seniors/addicts. it becomes like a kid almost. i've actually hunted people down on other forums for things regarding aD. i've come close to divorce a few times for aD. my stress level fluctuates with how the forums are running. we dont ever get the feeling that we can just not come here, sometimes multiple times a day. the seniors and addicts can take breaks any time they want and no one minds at all. when we take the rare breaks that we do, things fall apart. and i know damn well all of us that have taken breaks STILL come back while on that break just to see how things are. our breaks are more like only popping in once a day. i'm kind of just rambling on now, but i just wanted to make it very clear that we all serve a purpose here and the mods are the only ones that do the job of a mod, just as seniors and addicts are the only ones that do the job of seniors/addicts.

    Lethal - you are damn good at what you do, please keep right on doing it :)

    (and i know you're an addict, i'm just hoping some seniors read this and start acting like they are supposed to)

    Indeed, and I don’t think anyone was underestimating the amount of work mods put in here -- I certainly don’t.

    Hi,

    Just dropping in and wanted to say lethal is one of the few new addicts that everyone not there should emulate as far as his forum conduct is concerned. Not taking away from anyone else in that category just his everyday demeanor makes him truly worthy of the title addict.
