    We all know nagravision 2 (or there abouts) is on the way very soon. My question is this. Can existing cable receivers such as digivox eurovox starview etc be configured to run on the higher nagravision encryption? and if so what's involved in upgrading them?

    You mean nagra3 and the latest word is they are six months behind in the rollout, so it will be next june at the earliest before they switch over.

    And the answer is nobody knows which boxes will work, and nobody will know until after the event.

    Of course this is more 'information from a reliable source', so i wouldn't be able to say anything for certain!
