    Need more details.

If you want to compress a 7,000 MB or 7 GB movie to 700 mb with Shrink , its possible but the quality will s**k . It can be done but you will not like it.

Be more specific as to what you want to do except save money.

No No. The question is how do i put a (700mb) on to a stardard 4.7Gb DVD. As the file will fit on a normal CD-R Nero 6.6 tells me the wrong media is in the drive.

    Two things:

First, If you are cheap , DVD`s are more expensive than CD`s. Why are you using a DVD when you need a CD. If you do not have any CD`s , you should be able to trade them off with someone for CD`s.

Second , Details need more details.... What kind of burner do you have? CD or DVD burner. You can not burn a DVD in a CD burner.

Are you choosing to burn a DVD? If you select the CD profile then pop in a DVD Nero will give you the "wrong media" error.

    Hi there,

You can always use Daemon Tools (Or your favorite one) to mount those image, they will because virtual drive.

You can mount several images, or mount them 1 by 1 and copy them to your Hard Drive.

Then when you have enought, burn then to 1 DVD-R.

If those are not data, then read/search the forums on how to convert from 1 format to an other etc...

    My 2 cents...

Are you trying to make a disc that will play in a CD player? That won't work with DVDRs.

Look in the guides section. Right up at the top of the page, to the right "news". :)

Yeah sorry guys more detail required.

    Writer: Pioneer 108
    S/Ware: Nero 6

I've got over 100 blank printable DVD-R disks (I Won them). And what i was trying to do was make a backup of some software. The files to be burt were a cue & bin file to the tune of 625MB. As it was the middle of the night and i had no CD-R's I thought i may aswel try to burn the cue/bin file on to a DVD-R disk which is where i came unstuck.
