I recently refilled my printer's cartridge and now I can't reset the ink levels and so I can't print anything. HELP! I really need it for school but after a week spent in search I still can't figure out what to do. I understood that after refilling you have to cover some of the points on the foil but I don't know which ones exactly and in what order. PLEASE HELP!
All you do is: >Open up Lexmark.exe >Then go onto Maintain/Troubleshoot which should be in the top right corner >Then search for 'Device status and ink levels' and click on it >Now on the left there are some tabs, click on the one that says Maintenance >On the Maintenance menu click onto 'Install a new print cartridge' >The a diaram would come up but just click next >On the page just click on your ink cartridges(the type you have 27,26 or 17,16 >Now just go onto No,It's new for both cartridges ..................And by the way how old are you,all you had to do for this is just look in help and you'll find what you need, next time just look in help and see if you find what you need before coming on here.Have a go yourself m8,it's good to do thid, remember practice makes perfect.
Well, in fact i did this only for my black ink and it's still not printing. I'm gonna try for both of the cartridges. Thanks anyway. P.S. 30 years old and this is my first inkjet.
Yes, and in fact because of this problem I bought a laser printer recently. I can't make the Lexmark print and that's it. In the store where I bought the refill kit a guy told me that the new cartridges cannot be refilled and if I want to refill, have to find a very old cartridge (which is impossible )). Anyway thank you for the replies, you're the only one who tried to help me
