LG 8080B and CD-RW

    Hi,

    I have a problem with my LG-8080B (FW: 1.06) burner. It's just don't want to burn or format CD-RW discs. The strange thing is that it will read the disc information using Nero InfoTool...

    This is the information i get using InfoTool:
    Type: Blank HighSpeed CD-RW
    Capacity: n/a
    Tracks: n/a
    Sessions: n/a
    Medium info: Mitsubishi, 10X CD-RW, 79:59.74

    I've tried with an already burned 650MB disc, which I don't remember what brand it was, and it was read alright but it wouldn't be erased using nero.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi again,

    I found out by browsing a different site that my burner doesn't support HighSpeed CD-RWs... Bummer...

    Well, your drive may suck, but on the other hand your ability to solve your problem AND the fact that you were decent enought to report this earns you a Junior Member status :)
