Hey, ive been recently having problems with my LG GCC-H20N dvd/rw blu-ray drive.

It runs perfectly fine when playing any music CD or DVD but when i got to burn music or a video file to a CD or DVD it doesnt appear in the list to drives to choose from that you want to burn to.

I have ImTOO Dvd Creator, which has over the past few weeks worked perfectly fine for me and has displayed my dvd drive but now it only gives me options whether to save it as an image where i wanted to put it on a blank CD inserted in the dvd drive.

Ive looked at alot of solutions to this over the internet but am yet to find one, i have tried the registry solution where you go and delete the upper and lower filters in a certain local machine/system section.

Im just getting slightly frustrated by it, as my computer is fairly new and hope there is a quick fix i just havent noticed to this

    Thanks for any help

Give the nero demo a try; if it shows up in there you know it is an issue with imtoo, if it does not, you know it is a physical or windows error.

ive tried nero, its weird though because now its allowing me to burn CDs via iTunes, but when i get any other DVD burner program, the DVD drive never appears in the list of destination drives.

I downloaded ImgBurn, which also i had no look with but it came up with some error saying "maximum number of secrets stored"

    any ideas?

may help you or whoever thinks they may have a solution to my problem :)

    thanks
