here is my problem. my recently installed LG GDR-H30N dvd burner is not being recognize by any of my software, and it doesn't recognizes blank discs either. if i put a disc with a movie, then it has no problem recognizing it but, if the disc is a blank one, nothing, it is like if there was nothing there. help.
It sounds like it may be a defective drive. Have you tried to uninstall the drive in Device Manager, then reboot, and try burning again?
The drive you are talking about is only a dvd rom and not a burner, and if you want to do wii games the drive doesnot work either.
