does anybody know of a burning software that will work properly with LG GH22. Ive tried all the usual Img Burn, Clone DVD 4. Express burn etc but all of these just dont work. Any help or advice would be great. THANKS
I do not think anyone here can suggest better burning software than ImgBurn. (Maybe Nero for with other features.) If you had error with ImgBurn, could you post the log? So someone can understand your problem better. (Start ImgBurn , Help>ImgBurn log opens the folder where the log file is located. Open with notepad.)
Here is log for Img Burn. you will notice I cancelled writing but it had been running for about 8 hours at that stage. Same prob with all others. Ive tried lots of different media eg: verbatim, phillips ri-disc but still no joy. ; //****************************************\\ ; ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 - Log ; Monday, 02 March 2009, 17:37:28 ; \\****************************************// ; ; I 20:22:15 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! I believe that this is the process making image file (iso). It took 79min. Something was wrong before staring the burn. Are you using DVD43 to rip? Uninstall it or at least disable it before starting ImgBurn. And run ImgBurn to make iso file on hdd. It should not take that long. 2nd, please check your DMA status. (search here at aD "check DMA status". I have to go. I'll check back later tonight. Edit: Typo)
I got little time now. By quick look of you logs, your system is running very slow. Before wasting any more discs, you need to fix that. Uninstall unnecessary softwares, Scan virus,/malware, Disable unnecessary startups, Defrag your HD. To check your DMA, refer this thread; http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038 Let’s take a step at a time. (Edit: correct link)
