LG GWA-4164B problem

    hello,i have a LG GWA-4164B dvd/rw,i dont think it will read or wright any dvds anymore,I am trying to burn on HP dvd+r 8x,is this media not compatible or is it the dvd drive is broken?
    I am trying to burn with dvd decrypter and it keeps saying 'no media present'.
    and when i try to burn video with power producer is can find no disk?
    please help.

    Media should be compatible, sounds more like the drive is having problems.
