My daughters were watching a movie on our 2 month old 37in LCD (37LG50) tonight and the audio cut out a number of time. Would just go silent. To remedy the problem all I needed to do was turn the volume up or mute and un-mute the TV and the audio would come back on. They were watching regular DVDs on a PS3 hooked up to through HDMI. Any suggestions on what would cause this? Thanks.
I'm having the exact same problem. it happens when i'm watching a normal dvd or when i'm watching something I copied over to my PS3. Never happens when i'm watching TV with my coaxial cables. I guess it's an HDMI PS3 thing.
hi - did either of you figure this issue out? I have a 47" LG LCD HDTV and have the same exact issue with one or two games with my PS3. I've been trying to get support from Sony with little headway and also Activision. I've found it to be very frustrating during gameplay. any help you could provide would be great!
