Ok, so i vent and bought a Logitech g700, neat little gaming laser mouse with plenty to offer, while being on the wire. Not so satisfying results while having wireless on, as the powerfull 2.4mhz transiever is truly hungry on the computer rats powersource. This whole deal is powered by the single AA rechargable battery. Ok, so its model and markings as follows: eneloop, HR6 (AA), HR-3UTG 1.2V, Typ.2,000 m.Ah min 1,900m.Ah. Little detective work revealed that this is a NiMH, and as a pc user, i do detest using the apple/macintosh batteries on my pc mouse, so i was wondering if there was any alterior models and technology to be used in my mouse. OFC, i do love to use the latest and biggest, so i was wondering if there was Lithium Ion rechargable battery for the size (double a) Because with full blast and transmitting, the battery lasts around 1h to 1½h, i was wondering if there was a 2700-2900 m.Ah battery, but rather than using the Nickel-metal hydride, i´d really like to use a newer Lithium-Ion battery instead, as i assume they will hold the power better and have longer reuse time. So i am asking you experts, if you would know where to get these AA/2700-2900 m.Ah. Li-ion batteries? I only need 1 of those, but i assume they are sold in pairs, that´s not a problem tho.

Hmm, theres small problem here, its only 2500, and they are 3v, not 1.5 volt ones, so they are double volts from my 1.2 volt ones... i could go up amperage, that takes longevity, but i dont want to overcharge my 100€ mouse. also, i am not sure if litium batteries are same as litiom-ion. longer i am looking at it, it seems there are no capable litium ions out there, but there is nimh batteries with 2x capasity, with 2900 batteries out there. If only those would ship to finland.
It seems i got my answer from logitech and as the bottom of the mouse casing states, in NO CASE should be Li-ION be used as this would fry the mouse circuits. However, where can i find NiMH batteries with capasity of 2900? Those are sold in US, but not in EU, and i start to wonder ... WHY???
Lithium-Ion work better under high load (why they are used in cameras and transceivers) .. and as for frying the thing.. if you recharge in an external charger there is no problem.. nominal 1.2v is 1.2v ..+-10% as always.. actually it's still 1.2v as that is chemically all the cell is capable of under load. Actual current output is a direct function of electrode surface size.. bigger batteries shove out more grunt.. A Li-Ion battery isn't going to give you any problems at all.
