Lightscribe question

    sorry if this is in the wrong fcrum..I think this is appropriate..

    when I put a photo on a lightscribe disc, (regardless of the software, tried surething, lightscribe templata labler, and sonic expresslabler)with certain photos, I think its if I make them too big, (like covering the whole disc, or even half the disc) there are like circular strokes on the image, almost like you can see the motion the laser was going in, its not extreme, but its enough to notice.

    the only thing I can think of, is all the photos I have tried have been frame captures from videos, like I freeze/pause it on a frame take a snapshot with software and it makes a jpeg. could this be why I get the circular strokes?? why would this happen? I need some expert advice before I go making a bunch of coasters!

    anyone with advice, please post!

    i think what you are saying is right.

    Maybe another problem is a bit of dirt inside the drive.

    Also maybe try an image from www.lightscribe.co.uk - i know these work fine with no distortion as i have used them myself
