LIMEWIRE...HELP!!!

    hi there people... i installed lime wire in ma pc at my school.. i sumhow got the administrator password... but i still cant use it.i search for an item.. it says.. searching and the tab get highlighted but i cant see any files in the pending section.. .help please.

    It's probably not been granted internet access or something.

    Btw, that's not a very smart thing to do. I have the admin p/w for my school (along with a select other few >:p) and even though you're "admin", it doesn't mean they can't check out what has been going on and the put 2 and 2 together... Be warned ;-)

    Agreed. Your school probably has an on campus firewall protecting from outgoing connections like that. It's best not to use those types of programs, because you never know if the server administrator has some sort of tracking or monitoring software on the computers.

    You shouldn't be using Limewire at school. Try putting as much effort into your studies as you are pirating and who knows what you might accomplish.
