I'm trying to install a 320 Gig Western Digital Hard Drive in my softmod Xbox. I'm using Avalaunch as my default dash and I can only detect, between all the drives together c-z, 200 gigs. Is it limited to only 200 gigabytes or am I doing something wrong. Any help would be great. Oh yeah and I also tried formating the g: to see if it would pick up the extra space over 200. Didn't work either.
Make sure you have the latest BIOS. I have one X3 CE box with a 400GB HDD installed and Softmodded box with a 250 installed. Believe me, it's possible.
I had the latest bios installed and all and I'm still not sure what I was doing wrong. I eventully got it to work buy setting up the f: to be 137 Gb then allocating the rest to the G: that worked for me. Im not sure why I couldn't get it all on the f: but it doesnt really matter.
