limited or no connection??

    having a problem with a wireless dongle, don't know weather its the dongle or the computer.
    its saying limited or no connection. now i know the internet works because my laptop is connected (wire).
    is there anything i can do to fix this problem????

    That usually occurs when your network card doesn't receive an IP address. If you don't have a DHCP server, then you need to assign a static IP address in the range of your subnet. For example, 192.168.1.10. If you have a wireless router, then there should be an option in the configuration to enable DHCP.
