These are horrible discs, try Verbatim or Sony (made in japan)

Your burner doesnt recognize these discs.

    romeobu,
The only thing else I would add to what Gwendolin said is to set the target size to Custom 4350 so you do not burn to close to the outer edge. I think if you use the media she told you to use the burn will happen w/o any problems

    Log showing:
"Last possible write address on media: 2298495 (510:46.45, 4489MB)
    Last address to be written: 2283471 (507:26.21, 4459MB) "

Your Pioneer Firmware is up to date so that is good

Thanks All for your replies, I had to change my DMA from PIO and change my dvd-r's to sony and still didnt work, but also read another suggestion on this website to open your dvd writer and clean the len. I really didnt want to but I had nothing to lose since I have tried everything. So I opened it up and cleaned the lens with some lens cleaner and a q-tip. Put it all back togetther and tried burning on a dvd+rw disc so if it didnt work, I wouldnt waste a disc. and it worked. So I tried with my old Princo's and they worked too. I burned it at 4x and it worked great. No skips or nothing just perfect. Thanks to all the suggestions and this Great website!! The only problem I have now is trying to back up my dvds that are protected. Any suggestions, programs I can try? I will try again and post my log.
