I recently pulled some video off of my DVR unit onto my PC using a Hauppage PVR-150 and Win TV 2000. The video seemes to have captured fine, except for some lines at the top and/or bottom that I would describe as static.

I don't get these lines win I capture video directly from my cable connection coming into the smae card.

Any ideas what might be causing it?

What is it you recorded? I think it could be "record once" protection.

It was a TV show from my DVR. I can't imagine that it would have some protection in it, since the DVR has a Copy to VCR option on it.

The lines aren't terribly noticable, but not their on the original broadcast. Basically looks like some static.
