i`ve never done a divx movie before, and i`ve been tryin out the guide for divx anamorphic listed in the site guides, now i`ve got it all right i have the movie the size i want, the audio i want but it has some nasty lines whenever any charact5er moves fast, first i thought it was some config on the codec, but then i realized that virtualdub shows the lines even before compression wich makes me think that the problem is in the between the ifo files and the pseudo avi created with vfapi converter, not knowing too much about this tools i dont know how to fix it so any help would be greatly apreciated

Those are interlacing artifacts, which suggests that your source is interlaced. What did DGIndex report?

Also I wouldn't recommend using VFAPI. Use AVISynth instead.

Select force film. This will give you a 23.976fps progressive source. I would suggest updating to DGIndex and once again, don't use VFAPI.
