Ok, I have a nice PC hooked up to my Westinghouse TX-52F480S 52" TV and It has an Intel, Quad Core 2.8 per, 8GB ram, Nvidia 9800, in a Vista X64 rig. For over a year now I have been watching 1080 content in WMV, MKV and MP4 formats without a hitch using BS Player VLC and Total Media Player, etc. Recently I have noticed lines in my movies, well, not so much lines but a stagger . I must divulge that I have recreated what it looked like in a photo manipulation program and it is not a screen capture, it is however a spot on recreation. You can see it at: www.jeimasonry.com/image.jpg When I screen captured the stagger was not there. I have reinstalled Vista, and the programs i mentioned above to have the problem still visible. Hooked up another PC and it also shows the stagger while playing 1080 movies. Can anyone tell me what this is and why is it just showing up now on my TV? It's driving me #!#^ crazy.
I hope this is the correct section to post this.

    Hi thnmen

Sounds to me like you may have a problem with the memory ics on your tv. Most if not all manufacturers now use lead free solder and this is less flexible than leaded solder and therefore can cause problems with dry joints (cracked solder joints).Try your system on another tv and if it is ok then you should have your tv looked at. I hope this helps
