Most people with an upgraded HD usually have a few games stored on their HD. The Xbox bios cancels gameplay when the game is ejected, nut you cannot eject a game playing off your HD. Every time you are done playing the game and want to goto your softmod dash, you have to stand up and power off your Xbox, then back on. Not any more I was messing around with one of my games, adding some skins, when I came across the Demos folder. Within the Demos folder, was a file called XDemo.xbe. I got the idea to make a copy of my default.xbe for the softmod, and swap it out with the demo executable. So in theory, when you click the Demos link in the game menu, it will go straight to my softmod dash. It worked, and I did it with 9 other games. Lets say you have Avalaunch softmod, and Jade Empire installed on your Xbox HD. Make a copy of your softmod xbe, mine is evoxdash.xbe Not even needing to FTP, you can use a file manager. Browse to the Jade Empire folder, then look for the demos folder. You will see XDemo.xbe and some other files. Paste your evoxdash.xbe (your softmod xbe) into the Demos folder. Delete, preferably after backing up, your original XDemo.xbe file. Then rename your exovdash.xbe to XDemo.xbe. Once you launch the game and finish playing, just click on the Demos within the Jade Empire Main Menu, and your Xbox will go right back to the softmod dashboard! This little trick will only work with games that have demo xbe files. Just rename your softmod dash copy to whatever the games original demo name was. If it is not exact, it will not work.
