    Right hi ,
need some help here im wanting to link 2 pc's together to share the same internet connection.

so can anyone please tell me ive been told that there are various ways to do it, some cheaper than others, also that some of the wireless one's arent that good. so im a bit confused, one other way ive been told is, at the back of my modem which is a motorola surfboard sb4100 is a ethernet connection port, now as long as ive got a network card in the other pc i should be able to connect them together,so im in desperate need of some help..

could try having 1 computer on each port so 1 is on the netcard & the 2nd is on the usb port. if that doesn't work than need a router so that both computers are hooked to it & the router is connected to the cable modem.
