just switched to verizon dsl, and noticed that the links from the instant notifications are not highlighted, or underlined, and can't be opened. 1 e-mail from zonealarm had a link, and i was able to click and go to it, but that's it. any suggestions on this will really be helpful. thanks.

hi zo. the links still aren't active. i guess that's how it'll be 4 certain messages. at least i know that it will work on some like the reply from zonealarm that i mentioned above.

on that note a friend said he didn't have any problems through outlook express. i didn't want to use outlook because i want as much room as possible on my hd 4 video work. have you used outlook, and if you have is it a resource hog? or would you recommend it? to b honest i really want to use as little as possible from bill gates as i can. if you know what i mean.

ok. thnx zo. going to look into this. is it kinda quicker to access e-mails, etc...? takes a bit longer to load up my verizon home page than when i had netzero. just switched, and noticed the difference. everything else though is pretty good for dsl. funny netzero or any other dsl 4 that matter has to go through verizon 4 service. maybe their home page just has too much junk.

I use Thunderbird, which is Mozilla's answer to Outlook, and it works very well. If you like Firefox, then you will like Thunderbird and there are addons and extensions for it just like Firefox.

thnx loco. i'm going to keep this in my bag of goodies as well. don't have too much ram on my pc, so don't want to overload it, especially because of video work. btw good to hear from you.

RAM is cheap, I'd upgrade if you really need the extra oomph.

i'd need help selecting something that'll be compatible w/my dell e310. i know a lil about the basics of ripping, burners, and some pc stuff. finding the ram that'll b compatible w/my pc i'd need assistance. any suggestions or something you pretty much feel might work would greatly b appreciated. i could hit dell up, but they'll try to sell me their stuff at an exuberant price. you know the deal when it comes to going to the to the guys you get your original pc from.
