I just purchased a linksys compact wireless router to give wireless access to all the computers in my household. I was just curious if there was a "History Log" or a "Sites Viewed" log or something that the router stored in the main computer that it is hooked up to. I was curious if there was any way to see the sites that someone else has gone on using the routers log files. Just have a little bro and want to make sure he doesn't get into any stuff he shouldn't.
The only way I know of that a "community" history would be possible is if the computers are able to gain access to eachother's hard drives (don't know if this is automatic when all connected to the same router or if you must set it up seperately)... then he could go into your explorer history or temp files and vice versa if you wanted to check up on him. Lol sorry if I haven't helped or am stating the obvious but the rules say try to help if you can, thought it might be some info you could use if you hadn't thought of it! Sorry, them's the rules.
