I am trying to install this card on my computer. I'm running Windows ME (yeah... I know...). The first time I installed the card I had it plugged in throughout the installation, which caused a driver problem, but the device was being recognized as a network adapter. After I uninstalled it and completed the installation correctly it would only recognize it as an "unknown USB device" from sometime in 2000. I've re-done this numerous times and even used system restore at the suggestion of a fellow bestbuy employee (I'm a movie nerd, not a computer nerd) and I can't get any change. The newest problem I've come to is that it seems like the setup is working like it did the first time (every time after that it said it was already using the best driver)... it is telling me it can't find the file "rt25u98.sys" Is this something that should be on the install cd? If not, does anyone know where I can get this file so I can install it on that computer? Hope this is a clear enough explanation/question... any help is appreciated... thanks a lot!
try this it gives u some download sites http://www.linksysinfo.org/modules....4&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight= and information on a diifernet problem. But gives u a download site for the driver. Hope this helps mate.
