Here is the deal. I searched and came up empty handed so here it goes. I had my xbox working well with an 80 gig hd but found a newer 250GB so decided to use that with G support. I realized that my bios wouldnt use the g support so reflashed the chip (xecuter 2.3 lite+ but soddered)through the evox dash. I must have used the wrong bios cause it still didnt work so I wanted to get the chip back to factory and start from scratch so i could follow the tutorials and what not. But I downloaded what i thought was the newest version of cromwell (2.3) and now I cant load any bios at all. It says "loading linuxboot.cfg unable to find:halting" or something.
Finally the Qusetion== Is it possible to reflash the chip without a programmer back to cromwell 2.27? Or is it possible to load up to linux and the reflah the chip that way?

Use the Cromwell you have, just make a BIOS disk for it.
