I looked for about 2 hours today for any articles or download sites on how to install it. I came up with nothign and hope someone could help me out.
i dont like mac, but do they at least have boot from cd function, if so you may have downloaded a distro for the wrong architecture. i recommend knoppix to find out if your system is compatible before wasting your time.
a distro of linux for mac im pretty sure would fall under the category of PowerPC. there are many linux distributions that can easily be found by searching in google... a couple are: Debian Fedora Mandrake Ubuntu and the list continues, all you have to do is find the right one for yourself
easiest version of linux to get running on any system is DSL just boots and runs from a cd google for damn small linux
but i thought that since DSL has not got any particular architecture and stuff, you cant find more software to add to it, and i dont htink you can install it either ?
