Make sure you know what type and brand of cd/dvd your xbox reads...(usually are cd/dvd-r, as for brand, the one that works the most on me are imation)

Also make sure that when you burn you are burning in the slowest speed and in burn proof/verify modes...
(Slower burns = less errors, burn proof mode makes where the cd/dvd cannot be used again for burning and verify mode checks for any errors on your cd/dvd)

It also helps sometimes when you turn on the xbox with the cd/dvd already in it...

I dont know if you ever used AID disk because sometimes you need to burn it with a dummy file for it to start. Maybe xebian might need one too...

Nope.. xebian should just run out of the box. It is either the disks or the burning method wrong somewhere. Probably just copied iso file to disk instead of burning a proper image. That's the usual mistake people seem to make..

the best advice I can give is to link to the relevant part of the xebian wiki.. http://www.xbox-linux.org/wiki/Xebian_HOWTO#Burning_the_CD_image
