I'm having issues getting certain files to load in Premiere 6 and I think it might be a codec problem, because the same files worked fine in the past and the only thing I've changed that would have affected them is installing more codecs. I think it might be an audio codec because the error message is about supported rates in kHz, which is audio, right? (I'm a newbie, sorry.) A while ago I found a list of codecs, kinda like a "starter" list , and I thought it was on this site. but now I can't track it down. There were instructions on how to remove all the codecs from your computer and start over installing them from scratch with only the ones that were most commonly used. Does anyone know the guide I'm talking about and where to find it? Thanks in advance.
Never mind. I did a search on this site for "codecs" before posting and didn't find the thread that appears to be right at the top of this page. Sorry.
