I have a lite-on 20X dvd burner that i had for less than a year and its worked fine. Its capable of burning DVD+R @ 20. I have 16x DVD+R Disc. For the past couple weeks its only been burning at 12X. I Checked the mode of the burner and they all say Ultra dma 2 mode. Why has my burner slowed down all of a sudden?
Some programs do not report the burn speed correctly. Does it seem like it is burning slower? What program are you using to burn, and what type/brand of media are you using?
