Lite on DG-16D2S 74850c Flash problems

    I have a liteon DG-16D2S v74850c made in December 2008. I have flashed an older liton with no problems but I can not flash this one. I have tried to jungleflash it and it verifies everything but when I put it back into the xbox it will act like I never took it out. It reads dvds and bought xbox games but not burned, I even put in the activation disk on the ones that do not need one. I tried different sites for the firmare, different versions, the repack. Everything looks just like the guides except when I put it in the xbox and it doesnt do a thing with burned games. I tried to burn it in dos and it did the same thing. Can I flash this drive? I am about to just buy another one and chunk this but it works fine.

    does it give the "open tray" message or dirty disc

    it just gives open tray when ever there is a burned game in it

    have you dumped the lite on, to confirm that ixtreme has been flashed to it

    not sure what you mean. In jungleflasher and in dos, It verifies earase and write.

    i think that you should still confirm that the flash was done by dumping it. read the drive firmware. just use jungle flasher with drive half open, and under mtkflash tab click read.

    it doesnt sound like the flash was done successfully since its only reading originals and not backups

    In jungleflasher i do hit the outro/ata reset and I have turned it off and then pluged it back in. I will try to do it again tonight. I also have another one that the drive doesnt do anything so im going to use dosflash on it to see if it fixes it.
