lite on drive

    my buddy thought he was going to help me out and used jungle flasher. and he went to mtk flash and went to lite on erase. Before he got the dvd key. now the drive is in vendor mode .. the drive will play dvds. but will not play anytype of games..what do i do?

    use it as an expensive DVD player...

    its to do with the dashboard version (jtag) allows to install custom dashboards and lots more play games from the hdd without disk aswell, google it!

    If I just want the dvd key from my lite-on is it any simpiler a process than flashing one. I have never done a lite-on before and have a samsung so would rather just use that.

    If you do the procedure to get the Lite-On key, you're already in the process to flash it.

    Correct, time to buy a new xbox, but something here makes no sense. If the drive was erased, then it wouldn't even eject. He had to flash it after the erase. So he didn't even do a read? What was he thinking?
