lite-on hack

    if i download the firmware from the lite on site after christmas and hack it will the macrovision be disabled?

    With the 5005 a firmware higher than 1098 [like 1101] can not be hacked. You have to go back. You may have problems . Be careful

    PS With this new thread you might state the make and model of your recorder. I assumed it was a Liteon 5005 from your prior post.
