Hi all, I have a lite on drive which was modded with the probe in the r707 slot, we all know the damage this has done to the laser! I have used a multimater on it a couple on times now and the laser is gone again...My question is, can I take a laser from a VAD6038benq and put it in the lite on drive, will this make any difference? or, is it best to buy a new lite on drive? thanks Torry

Yes. Lite-Ons and BenQs share the same laser. If the BenQ Laser works, then yes. Yes this is the best option.
