i got this lite-on drive today, and i noticed it had features like multi-recorder and lightscribe. what does the multi-recorder do? is that only if you have 2 dvd drives? and i know what lightscribe is and does. but how do i use it? would i need to get a separate software to use lightscribe?
the multi-recorder part means you can use all types of disk's such as cd-r cd-rw dvd-r dvd-rw dvd+R dvd+rw and so on........ i think that drive is a oem version not retail so it probably didn't come with software (the LH-20A1H-186)Retail does come with Nero (the LH-20A1H-185) oem does not come with software... that drive is a combo CD/DVD RW Drive...... just bought the retail ver. myself.......... you will need a seperate LightScribe program to use the LightScribe burning part.............. i'll post back some imformation for you soon..........
