After failing to start burning some iso's in Nero, I tried to upgrade this drive from LL05 firmware to LL06 and even LL0C... I get this message saying "No matched drive detected" as if to imply that I don't have a LH-20A1H dvd burner on my system. (see screenshot below) I have emailed Lite-On and getten no response. Does anyone else have this problem?
I am having a very similar problem with a Lite-On LH-20A1P drive. Except the firmware update lists my drive like this 0-0-0-0 E:Lite-On DVDRW LH-20A1p KL0G. KL0G being my current firmware.
Just had the same problem myself tonight while trying to update my LH-20A1H, kept getting the "no matched drive detected" message. Cured it by booting into Windows Safe mode, ran the LL0C.exe from my boot drive (C:/) and it upgraded the firmware perfectly, give it a try, it might work for you too.
