I am trying to figure out this recorder. I deleted two titles (an hour each) on a DVD+RW dvd. I then programmed an hour show but when it tried to record it, it failed saying that there was not enough space, even though I had two hours on the dvd. That was one problem. My second problem is that when I try to overwrite titles, it won't let me set the DVD recorder to overwrite more than one title. Can anyone explain this to me? I tried to get technical support, but with little luck. Thank you.
There was plenty of room. As it turned out, customer service unfortunately did not know what they were talking about. I think you can only override one title at a time but if there is room on the dvd, it will place the new recorded content in that space. I do want to know though, if you know - can you only overwrite one title at a time? If I have watched two titles on a dvd and want to overwrite them both, the recorder won't let me.
