Hello I am hoping that someone would be able to help me.. I have had the Lite-On DVD for almost 1 year. Out of the blue it has stopped playing any DVD either rented or bought. If I put it a burned DVD (-R) it will play it just fine but the original will not play. I have looked for answers everywhere but did not come up with anything. I have updated the firmware but that did not help either. I am mot able to loacate the cd that came with it to reinstall drivers again. Any help on this would be great. It seem like my only other option is to get a new dvd rw but I would like to keep this one if there is a fix. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. Thank You Sameer
Yes I tried that. The Primary Channel and the Secondary Channel is set to DMA. I also have nvidia chip on my MOBO. I use DVD Shrink so the I/O for that application is way different from what the instruction had. The firmware is also updated to the latest one. It seems like I will have to replace the drive....bummer Sameer
