liteon 48x only writing at 11.23x in nero - pls help

    hi, im sorry if this question has been answered before but i couldnt find it in the forums. my liteon 48x writer will only write mp3 to .wav in nero at 11.23 speed. i have my writer on a different ide cable to my hd.
    i have updated the latest firmware. do i neeed to update my ide drivers. pls help.

    p2 350 128mb ram 40 gb hd - hope this is fast enough. cheers c.
