Hi, I recently purchased a liteon 5002 dvd recorder.Unfortunately the manual does not tell you how to record one chanel while watching another. Once recording starts(using timer)the recorder only records the chanel you are watching---If you change the chanel,the recorder records the new chanel?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
I don't think you can. The Liteon DVD recorders only have a single tuner (like VCRs) so you are only able to set it to one channel at a time. If you want to record one channel while watching a different channel, you will need to start recording then switch your TV over to the new channel.
Thanks for your reply,whizkid. You are absolutely correct. I contacted liteon direct ,who gave me the same answer. However the liteon bumph stated "record one chanel while watching another" ?????????????????. So still a bit confused!! Thanks again anyway.
