    Hello,

I just upgraded my LiteOn 5007 to LNKA1039.ES1. My date can't be adjusted past 1999. The cursor will move from to the last two digits of the year with no apparent way to select the first two. I also have not been able to receive any TVGuide listings. I'm not connected to a cable box, I've been powered off for more than 24 hours numerous times, and I have yet to see a listing. Are my incorrect year and lack of TVGuide listings related? For what it's worth, I wasn't able to receive listings before the upgrade either.

My setup screen shows SN: 0106-4140-0039-G2B9 (104-010D)

Any suggestions what might be going on?

I simply set it for 1905 and it came up as 2005 when I re-started

I set my year for 1995 too (just talked to LiteOn tech support). It's gonna be tough waiting 24 hours though to look for listings. I'm kind of anxious. If I check before all the listings have downloaded, do I see a partial listing or none at all? Does the download have to start all over again? What if I peak early?

OK...setting the year to 1995 worked. It now shows up as 2005.

Now if only it would get TVGuide listings. This was one of the bigger considerations when I bought this device. I don't get what could be going wrong...the only setup options are is there a cable box connected (no) and what is my zip code (29406). I called Comcast to see if they were aware of whether this service is blocked or if there were any known issues. Still waiting to hear back from someone other than Tier 1 tech who told me they don't support third party hardware. (I never told her which brand/model I had...just asked about the TVGuide listings signal...asked her to escalate my question to an engineer familiar with TVGuide Online).

    Any similar experiences?

Good luck with Comcast. I dumped cable over 3 years ago for Dishnetwork and have been happy ever since. The two times I needed tech support the problem was solved within 10 minutes. Sorry to get off the subject but I really DESPISE cable.
