hello guys, i need help i can not get the tv guide working at all, even i went through the set up enter the zip code all that when it first start the dvd hook up. after that i pressed the tv guide button i got the messagge there is no data for this screen. i did hook up the basic cable to the dvd player without the cable box. i got the tv working great throught this dvd recorder tuner, but i got no tv guide. can you tell me what i need to get it working? do i need cable box to get the tv guide working or not? thanks.
It could be that your cable system doesn't carry the TV Guide programming. Did your clock automatically set? That's one indication that it's working. Also it takes about 24 hours to download the programming.
