liteon 5007 unit - double layer disc?

    Does anyone have experience playing a double layer disc in a Liteon 5007 unit? All my commercial discs (apparently are DL since they are always over 6G) play fine in the 5007, but I want to backup some of my discs using my PC into either DVD+ DL or - DL and I am not sure if those would play back in the Liteon.

    I saw some DL Verbatims at a good price so I am curious if I should give them a try.

     According to user reports at this link, your LVW-5007 won't play either DVD+R DL or DVD-R DL ...
