OK. after deleting this i have a new question that s come up. I'm trying to convert my AVI file to .bin/.cue files to burn it to a CD using DVD2SVCD(AVI2SVCD). i've been following the Doom9.net guide ( http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/conversionguides.htm ) and the major hitch comes when i start to convert. During the process it opens up the beginning dialog of TMPenc twice(one saying i can use the MPEG-2 Function for 30 days). I click ok both times, TMPenc flashes up then away-- process seems to have ended. but i find no .bin/.cue files in my C:\Program Files\DVD2SVCD\Movie directory. Any setting specifying to convert to .bin/.cue that i'm missing or something. help please.

    thanks

    i saw in mpeg51_log that

ISO MPEG Audio Subgroup Software Simulation Group
ISO 13818-3 MPEG-2 Audio Multichannel Encoder
    Revision: 2.5 990316

Configuration: 0 lfe: 1 do not match with audio channels: 2

could this be affecting the outcome? would i have to take the audio out in something like VirtualDub?
