    Hey guys,
    I understand that if you get banned from xbox live it bans the console, but what happens if you reflash the drive, does that fix anything?

    Then you'd have a reflashed and STILL banned console.

    When flashing a drive for the first time and you've already been on xbox live, if you flash it and then go online again, will MS detect the change and ban the console?

    Probably yes. You might get banned, you might not. No one can tell you for sure how M$ does their bans.
