Basically after playing a bit on GTA im saving my progress onto my memory stick. Sometimes it says 'load failed, save data is corrupt'?? This is annoying as when this happens I have to start all over again? Has this happened to anyone else before and know why this is happening? I am using a psp with original firmware 2.0 and a official gta umd.

    Thanks

I DONT KNOW IF THIS IS ALOUD SO TELL ME IF I AM WRONG....YOU SHOULD DOWNGRADE YOUR PSP AND DOWNLOAD THE GTA LOADER ...THAT MIGHT WORK !!!! - BUT DO IT AT UR OWN RISK

what happened was i transfered my save data from another memory stick via my pc. I put it in exactly the same folder it was in before and the psp detects it in the save data menu and in the game. SO when i loaded the umd it loaded the sae data fine....but after playing for a while I save my progress it says 'save complete' but when i reload the save data it says 'load failed, save data is corrupt'.

I reformatted the mem stick and did it again the same thing happened. When I start from sractch on the memory stick without tranfering any save data it seems to reload save data fine.

Any one know what Im doing wrong?

btw i transfered my save data in this way...... i went to the original memory stick and opoened the folder save data and copied the folder 'ULES00151S0'. Put the new memory stick in the psp and then pasted the 'ULES00151S0' folder in it's save data folder.

no don't do that stay in the psp folder and put it in the save data folder and when it asks you to overwrite say yes, try that and see if it helps
