I recently bought a 30G iPod and have been loading music off iTunes with no problem. However I have several CDs that I understood could be loaded onto my iPod but when I open in iTunes and try to drag and drop onto my iPod it gives me a message that basically says it won't transfer. Any ideas?
click the "import" button at the top right and that will move them into your library. if your ipod is manual, then from your library, drag them to your ipod.
When You Pop a Cd into you Drive, it should come up on the left hand menu, like this: Click It, then you will have a list of the songs, like this. (you should click the 'import CD' icon in the top-right hand corner at this point). You say you get an error message...what does it say exactly, and at what point does it appear?
