Is there any way to load an .iso image onto the xbox before burning it to disc to make sure it works? It seems somewhat far fetched, but i'm just throwing this out there to see if anyone knows anything...

I'm not too sure exactly what you are asking, but here's my 2 cents. Verify the following: 1. Your xbox is modded with the latest bios (recommend coloured bios with the eject trick) 2. Your xbox can play "backup" games. 3. You can launch the evox dashboard via the harddrive or boot disk. Now to answer your question. If you want to run a game on your hard drive as one big file with a .iso extension, you can't. The box looks for a default.xbe to launch games. If you just want to copy a game to your xbox hard drive, test that it works, THEN copy it to a DVD, then YES you can.
yeah thats the thing, my burner doesnt do dvd-rw, only -r, so i dont want to use a whole dvd on a file 33 mb too big for a regular cd-rw, but i think im out of luck in that regard. and yes, i qualify for all those criteria.
I'm looking for a ISO launcher for the xbox.... It can save a lot of space because ISO files are more little than ISO extracted with xbe atc... thanks skanner70@bigfoot.com
