I loaded Gt rom4 to my computer I down loaded STAR VIEW_H20060816_257eE_api.bin also 260 and 400, went to device manager and changed com port to 115200 from 9600 connected PC and The Box via Null modem cable but the box on standby clicked Gt rom4 entered 400.bin file clicked download and download bar appears at 0% after few seconds says flash update failed. Tried 260 bin file for the box also because on system info reads ver 2.60 eE api. What am I doing wrong could the null modem cable be faulty or how do I know that the PC and Starview box are connected? Com port reads 115200, data bits 8, parity none, stop bits 1 and flow control Xon/Xoff..Is there anyting obvious I'm donig wrong? Surprised myself with above jargon I’m not high tech, can anyone help. Thanks in advance.
com poert should be 1,2,3or 4 the 115200 is the abud rate so try using all the four com ports in gtrom loader.
